Amethyst amulet pendant

The amethyst featured in this pendant was mined at the Deer Hill pegmatite in Stow, Maine, from 1967 to 1971 by Jim Mann.  The 1 inch long pendant has an 3mm cut gem amethyst in the bail. The sterling silver cap was handcrafted by Victoria Woolen-Danner of Bethel, Maine, and Chicago, Illinois.
