Hidden in this pendant is a stylized crescent moon peeking out between the two gemstones. The crescent moon, in alchemy, is also the symbol for silver. This pendant is made of sterling silver with small details of 22k gold vermeil. Chain is included with purchase. Gemstones available include Amethyst, Smoky Quartz, Pink Tourmaline, Green Tourmaline and Aquamarine.
Both gemstones in this pendant measure 4 mm with a combined weight of around 0.50 total carats. All of the gemstones were mined in Western Maine from 1972 to the 1990's. Several gemstone and color variations are available. Each piece arrives with a card detailing the history of the stones.
