Oxidized Silver Earrings with Pink Gem Tourmaline

Made with oxidized sterling silver and 14k yellow gold, these earrings were handcrafted by Denver, Colorado jewelry artist Alex Boyd. 

The pink tourmaline gemstones measure 4 mm and weigh 0.50 total carats.  They were mined at the Dunton pegmatite in Newry, Maine from 1972-1974 by Plumbago Mining Corporation as part of the Big Find.
