Resembling a star cluster (or stellar assoction), the 18k yellow gold baubles form the cluster around three olivines. The olivines are from crystals found in pallasite meteorites which are then cut into gemstones. These round gems measure 2 mm and weigh 0.09 total carats. Fused to the oxidized sterling shank is 18k yellow gold and meteorite dust as well. The ring is 3/4" at its widest point on the top and tapers to 1/4" wide at the bottom. Size 9.
The ring was designed and crafted by Christine Peters of Damariscotta, Maine. Sterling silver and 18k yellow gold along with meteorite dust and three pallisitic olivines makes for a special stellar ring!
