Uniquely Zoned Tourmaline Slice Pendant

This unique slice of tourmaline has a zone of pink tourmaline surrounded by green tourmaline.  Weighing in at 48.9 carats, this is stunning piece of tourmaline from The Big Find at the Dunton Quarry in Newry, Maine from 1972-1974 by Plumbago Mining Corporation.  

The setting is 14k yellow gold and the bail is accented with a small diamond.
